Predicted Flight Path

In tight situations, the predicted flight path function of the Sierra Synthetic Vision can be a lifesaver. The predicted flight path indicator shows your aircraft's wind-corrected course up to one minute into the future.

In the example at left, the canyon walls may not seem to pose a threat. But the predicted flight path—the magenta arc bending left off the nose of the aircraft marker—confirms that the cross wind is pushing the aircraft into the ridges to the left.

As the pilot, you get the information you need to make timely decisions about appropriate course adjustments.

Location: Hells Canyon (deepest in North America)
